New Adult Social Groups: we have two new social groups for adults meeting in the Centre, on two evenings per week:

New Management Committee: following this year's AGM, the Community Centre Association's Management Committee for the forthcoming year is: David Carre, Esrar Ali Khan, Gillian Rushton, Mohammed Imran, Natalie Burniston, Pinnu Khan, Shabaz Iqbal & Susan O'Connor. Library: we have launched a small community library for Centre users. It's free to borrow books, however, we would appreciate a small donation (20-30p) for each book borrowed, which will go towards the Centre's funds. We are happy to accept donations of books in good condition. Councillor's Surgeries: two of our Ward Councillors hold a surgery in the Centre once a month, as follows:
If you have any issues you would like to raise with either Councillor, please call in on the above days ~ no appointment is necessary. Area Form: the next Area Forum meeting will be held in the Centre on Wednesday 21st March 2012, starting at 6.30pm, so if you have any issues you want to raise about the local area, please come along ~ everyone welcome! Homework Help: does your child need extra help with their school homework? RochdaleTutors are now running a homework help session for children aged 4-16 years in the Centre every Saturday morning, between 10.00am to 2.30pm. The tutors are qualified teachers who have had a CRB check, and the charge per session is from £5 per child. For further details, please ring 07583 607653, or visit the RochdaleTutors website. GM Police PACT Meetings: here are the dates, times and venues for future PACT meeting for the Milkstone & Deeplish ward (which includes Sparth):
