Sparth Community Centre can be hired for meetings, training courses, parties, weddings and social other functions, subject to the Booking Policy detailed below. The new charges for hire, as from 1st April 2012, are: Meetings / Training Courses Main Hall - £25 per hour Small Hall - £20 per hour Refreshments (tea/coffee & biscuits) - from £5 Cold or hot buffet - by arrangement only Social Functions Main Hall - £30 per hour Small Hall - £20 per hour Kitchen (serving only) - £15 per hour Kitchen (cooking & serving) - £20 per hour Caretaker's Fee (Monday to Thursday) - £10 per day Caretaker's Fee (Friday to Sunday) - £20 per day Extra cleaning, if necessary, will be charged for at a rate of £10 per hour. A nominal charge of £5 will be made for the removal of black bags, where required. Kick Pitch No floodlights - £10 per hour With floodlights - £15 per hour BOOKING POLICY Regular Centre user groups have priority over one-off and private bookings. To hire the Community Centre when there is normally a user group booking, you must apply in writing to the Centre Manager al least one calendar month, prior to the date of the proposed booking. The Centre Manager will pass on your request to the user group(s) concerned. The final decision will be made by the leader(s) of the user groups affected. For social functions, a deposit of £100 must be paid at the time of booking. The deposit will be returned after the booking, unless the booking runs late or damage is caused, in which case the full deposit will be retained. All social functions must be paid for, in full, at least 24 hours in advance of the booking. A more detailed listing of the Terms & Conditions for hiring the Community Centre is reproduced on the back of the Centre's booking forms, which must be read and signed, before any booking can go ahead. |
